Smart YouTube Search

For each identified moment, B-Roll Me generates optimized search queries and searches YouTube directly using the InnerTube protocol. No YouTube Data API key is required — search and transcript fetching work out of the box.

Local Whisper Transcription

When YouTube captions are unavailable, B-Roll Me falls back to on-device Whisper transcription. Metal-accelerated on Apple Silicon for fast, private processing.

Per-Feature Model Selection

Assign different AI models to different tasks. Use a fast, cheap model for script analysis and a more capable model for clip evaluation to optimize cost and quality.

Video Preview with Time Controls

Preview any clip before downloading. Adjust start and end times with +/−1 and +/−5 second buttons. Click transcript segments to jump to specific timestamps.
