2 Add Your AI API Key
B-Roll Me uses AI for script analysis and clip evaluation. You need at least one API key. Open the app and navigate to Settings from the sidebar.
In the API Keys section, enter your key for any of these providers:
Anthropic (Claude)
console.anthropic.com
OpenAI (GPT)
platform.openai.com
Google Gemini
aistudio.google.com
OpenRouter
openrouter.ai
After entering your key, click Test Connection to verify it works.

4 Create a Project
Go to the Dashboard (click the Dashboard link in the sidebar) and click New Project. Give it a name — this is how you'll organize your B-Roll searches by video.

5 Paste Your Script and Analyze
Inside the project, you'll see a large text area at the top. Paste your video script here — it auto-saves as you type.
Click the Analyze button. The AI will read your script and identify moments where B-Roll footage would enhance the video. Each moment appears as a card below with suggested footage types and search queries.
