Additional Requirements
AI API Key (Required)
B-Roll Me requires at least one AI API key for script analysis and clip evaluation. Supported providers:
- Anthropic — Claude models (claude-sonnet-4-20250514, etc.)
- OpenAI — GPT-4o, GPT-4o-mini, etc.
- Google Gemini — Gemini 2.5 Flash, etc.
- OpenRouter — Access to 100+ models
YouTube API Key (Not Required)
B-Roll Me searches YouTube and fetches transcripts without a YouTube Data API key. It uses the InnerTube protocol directly.
Bundled Tools
B-Roll Me bundles yt-dlp (for video downloading) and ffmpeg (for segment trimming). These are included in the installer — no separate installation needed. You can update yt-dlp from within the app's Settings.
